Anxiety Resolved in Cambridge and London with Hypnosis, Hypnotherapy and applied psychological techniques
We all suffer from anxiety and worry throughout our lives in response to common stressful situations and the pressures of life. For many people, however, anxiety can become overwhelming and out of proportion, affecting them on a regular basis. If you struggle with anxiety problems you may find that your worries are very intrusive and prevent you from doing many of the things you would like.
There are a huge number of different symptoms of anxiety, but these are some of the things you may experience:
- Feeling 'on edge'
- Restlessness
- Sense of dread
- Difficulty concentrating
- Irritability
- Impatience
- Being easily distracted
- Dizziness
- Lethargy
- Pins and needles
- Irregular heart beat (palpitations)
- Muscle aches
- Dry mouth
- Excessive sweating
- Shortness of breath
- Stomach ache
- Headache
- Diarrhoea
- Excessive thirst
- Frequent urination
- Painful or missed periods
- Difficulty in falling, or staying, asleep
- Panic attacks
During a panic attack you may suffer many physical symptoms, including rapid heart beat, chest pains and/or tightness, shortness of breath, sweating, shaking, lightheadness and tension. Many sufferers feel as though they are going 'crazy'. A panic attack often includes a feeling that 'something terrible is about to happen' and may include a specific fear of dying. Indeed many people fear that they are having a heart attack.
Those with Generalised Anxiety Disorder tend to be worried by a wide range of issues and if you suffer from this condition you may find that you are anxious most days. Many other problems and conditions include anxiety symptoms, for example phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder, depression, post traumatic stress disorder and panic disorder.
Helping Anxiety through Suggestion Therapy
Suggestion Therapy (sometimes called Clinical Hypnosis) is used for less complex problems. If you are struggling with anxiety before a one off event, for example a driving test, job interview or upcoming operation, then suggestion therapy is very effective treatment. With suggestion therapy, you are relaxed into a very nice, calm, hypnotic state, and then given suggestions entirely for your benefit, which will help you to feel relaxed and in control. You will find that the suggestions given to you will really boost your confidence and enable you to visualise the upcoming event in a positive way.

Resolving Anxiety with Pure Hypnoanalysis
Pure Hypnoanalysis is an extremely effective therapy for treating anxiety. It is a very special type of hypnotherapy and one of the best methods in the world for treating emotional, psychological or anxiety-related problems.
Anxiety is often caused by unresolved, bottled up emotions. In this uniquely successful therapy, you are able to completely resolve the root emotional cause of your anxiety, in a very safe and non-judgmental atmosphere. Over a period of about 6 to 12 sessions, we slowly link experiences together (using a process of 'free association') until you have released all your bottled up emotions. Upon finishing therapy, you will find that you are no longer held back by unresolved emotional issues and are able to live the life you really want.

Through changing your limiting beliefs you will find that you will gain amazing personal insight. With the training you will be able to completely change the way you think and feel about yourself and challenging situations, enabling you to live a happier, more successful and positive life.
The Changing Limiting Beliefs programme is particularly suitable for anyone who may, for whatever reason, find going through a course of Pure Hypnoanalysis very difficult or impossible.

Testimonials
Here are some testimonials from real people who have successfully resolved their anxiety.
I had been struggling with severe nerves before test situations, anxiety and a lack of self-confidence for some time, when a friend suggested that hypnotherapy might be able to help... Following a great many hours of searching the internet and obsessively reading the entire websites of a large number of hypnotherapists and hypnotherapy associations, I found that the IAPH and Rob's websites were the ones I kept coming back to. Everything was explained in a clear and logical manner and Rob did appear to look normal... maybe I could give it a try! At the initial consultation Rob (who still didn't seem to be in any way strange!) explained that I had social phobia, an intense fear of being judged. This was the first hurdle. Did I believe what he was telling me? I certainly didn't really like the idea of having social phobia! After all, I was certain people would think me weird if they felt that were the case...!!! After much deliberation, and at least 3000 questions later, I decided to 'bite the bullet' and try a course of Pure Hypnoanalysis. It turned out that being hypnotised was in no way frightening! It simply involved relaxing whilst listening to Rob's voice. I did, however, initially, find the therapy somewhat less than fun due to my fear of being judged, and was (unnecessarily!) extremely nervous.
Rob was, however, incredibly patient, compassionate, encouraging and completely non-judgemental and the sessions gradually became easier. (Rob is, however, human and does have one fault. He will, without a doubt, be running at least 10 minutes late for each and every session!) Once the course of hypnoanalysis was finished, Rob helped me to change some limiting beliefs, which were still preventing my social phobia from completely disappearing, by teaching me his 'Dream Process'. I had a tendency to view myself in a very negative way, often without really realising it, and this process enabled me to recognise these negative thoughts, reframe them and consequently feel more positive. Although I initially found the process frustrating (I had to apply it rather frequently to start with!) within a few weeks of using it, I noticed that I was approaching many things in a more confident way and was feeling much less anxious. For me, the changes that have occurred as a result of the therapy have taken place gradually (and are still occurring!) as opposed to the sudden relief of symptoms described by many people, but that's not to say that these changes have been any less significant!! I now feel much happier, more confident, in control of my life and understand myself far better. Rob is an amazing person who really does genuinely care about helping people and this, along with his enthusiasm and sense of humour, really contributed to the success of the therapy. Presumably if you are reading this testimonial you are considering going to see Rob - I would definitely 110% recommend it! I found the therapy incredibly interesting and (dramatic as this sounds!) it really has changed my life.

Dear Rob
Having flown many times is my life i can say that each time the experience for me had got worse. The fear is very hard to decribe. The build up to the holiday i would be very stressed and anxous, looking at planes in the sky thinking oh my god why did i agree to go on holiday.
On the morning of the holiday i would have several vodkas (im not even a drinker) but i would still be a nervous wreck when boarding.Id try not to let anyone see how i felt as i didnt want to look stupid. In my eyes the flight i was getting on was going to be the worst ever flight.Once on holiday i was never fully relaxed as i knew i had to get on a plane to get home.
I had met Rob a few times at friends parties.Having booked my summer holiday for August 2008 I decided to book a session with Rob and try to get myself sorted out.In the back of my mind i was sceptical about what he could do for me but i had to give it a go.
After the session with Rob i felt that he had changed my life.During the session Rob spoke to me and soon described my personality down to a t.Everything he told me about myself i could relate to.He then put me in a very relaxed place and talked to me about my fear. After leaving the session i felt like a different person. Not only did he cure my fear of flying he made think more positive about life.
On the morning of my holiday i didnt feel my usual stressed out state.Take off was always my biggest fear but on this occasion i thought about all the positive things that Rob had told me.This was the first take off that i have looked over at my husband and children smiling rather than crying. The rest of the flight went well and on landing i felt so pleased with myself.I was totally relaxed on holiday as coming home was not an
issue.I can honestly say i could fly tomorrow and it would not worry me.I think Rob is a very special and clever man and i will always be gratefull to him.

I went to see Rob Kelly after seeing 13 different therapists, over a 16 year period. I tried psychotherapy, eft, inner-child, trauma-debrief, anxiety therapy, landmark, homeopathy and much much more - I tried everything, thousands of hours of treatment. In the end it took me just 9 visits to completely change my life - and I mean COMPLETELY. My anxieties are 95% gone, my symptoms have disappeared, and I feel great. Pure Hypnoanalysis has worked wonders for me, and I would recommend it to anyone.

Firstly can I say what a special person Rob is with a special talent and ability!! Very warm, caring, humorous, patient and understanding. I cannot begin to thankyou enough for what you have done for me and my family. I came to you as a chap who put on a mask to the outside world that everything was fine and dandy, while underneath the surface I was drowning in emotions of guilt, nerves, anxiety, frustration and self hate. But thanks to your help, support, confidence and superb
therapy sessions, I have became so much more confident, guilt free, less frustrated, anxious, nervous and so much more happier with life but more importantly feeling so much more contented with myself as a person. I couldn't recommend this therapy treatment any more if I tried.
Thank you so much for helping change my life for the better!!!!
All the best Rob, take care.

I can not thank Rob Kelly enough for the new life he has opened up for me!
I suffered from EXTREME social phobia/social anxiety, unable to speak to people in public, including shop assistants, or even hold my head up when walking down the street in case I should make eye contact, even dating... my mouth would become dry, my hands numb and I would begin to hyperventillate just thinking about doing ordinary things like popping to the shops or filling the car with petrol.
I had begun to put life on hold.
A work colleague had mentioned her success at stopping smoking using hypnosis with Rob - her enthusiasm encouraged me to make contact with him myself.
From the offset, Robs message was clear and encouraging about the benefits hypnotherapy with him, would have on me.
The beauty of hypnotherapy for me (I had a course of Pure Hypnoanalysis) was that I didn't have to see the other persons reactions to what I spoke about, as would happen in conselling, for example. I was aware that Rob was in the same room, but he was able to make me feel relaxed and free from 'judgement', although he is of course using his extensive skill and knowledege to analyse what I revealed, but most importantly he made me feel safe.
Through sessions with Rob I discovered the very root of my reluctance to connect with people... it was a REPRESSED MEMORY: an experience so painful, that made me feel so guilty and shameful, I had completely buried it in the back of my mind - I had no idea this had ever happened before I saw Rob.
Once I had 'released' this experience (let out all the emotion) I felt an extreme sense of relief wash over me. I would never have been able to access that memory by myself - it needed Rob and his exceptional ability as a hypnotherapist, to release me from my 20 year rut. Very quickly I noticed my life changing for the better, as did my thrilled family! I am at last able to value and love myself. I welcomed new friends, started smiling hello to passers by, and I flirted with the sexy guy who I'd had my eye on - who is now my boyfriend!!
I have made many positive changes to my life, and I now look forward to the future.
Rob Kelly has made this possible. Thank you so much Rob
